What are chromosomes?

In a person, each cell contains chromosomes that were inherited from each parent, 23 from the father and 23 from the mother.
Each person has two pairs of 23 chromosomes or 46 total chromosomes.
When a chromosome is missing or there is an extra one, health and development problems appear.

What is PGT-A test?

PGT-A is a genetic study of the embryo produced during IVF treatment to identify numerical chromosome aneuploidies (imbalances)

This test identifies chromosomally normal embryos and can help improve your chances for a healthy ongoing pregnancy and baby.
